Overview:

Dash Power Partners is seeking a senior analyst to join our Regulatory practice as a trusted partner to electric utility industry clients. This individual will own and lead workstreams supporting regulatory strategy and compliance engagements in a specialized power engineering firm. Role combines regulatory analysis with execution, coordination, and structured tracking (including dashboards and tools). This position is fully remote with exposure to complex utility and infrastructure projects.

  • The regulatory strategy, policy, and compliance group helps integrate engineering work products into the client’s regulatory environment, aligning technical work with regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and practical implementation.
  • The firm supports electric utilities, transmission owners and developers, infrastructure investors, and large energy users (including data center platforms) on complex, system-level matters.
  • The Senior Regulatory Analyst leads discrete analytical and regulatory workstreams and plays a key role in execution across engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead discrete workstreams across regulatory strategy, policy, and compliance engagements.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable insights and structured outputs.
  • Develop regulatory analyses, supporting materials, and draft deliverables.
  • Build, maintain, and operationalize structured tools, including requirements registers, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Drive execution of workstreams by organizing priorities, maintaining visibility into progress, and surfacing issues requiring resolution.
  • Support development of compliance frameworks, regulatory strategies, and implementation plans.
  • Interface with client personnel to gather information and support execution.

Qualifications:

  • Typically, 6-12 years of experience in utility regulation, energy, compliance, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in practical contexts.
  • Experience leading workstreams or project components.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex information and support disciplined execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with regulatory or compliance environments involving federal agencies, reliability organizations, or state commissions.
  • Background in investor-owned, municipal, cooperative, or federal power environments.
  • Experience supporting regulatory filings, compliance programs, or risk-related initiatives.
  • Experience developing or maintaining dashboards or structured tracking tools.
