  • Compliance Advisor

    Overview:

    Dash Power Partners is seeking a Compliance Advisor to join our Regulatory practice as a trusted partner to electric utility industry clients. In a senior role, this individual will focus on designing and implementing compliance frameworks in complex utility environments. We are open to including experienced professionals seeking flexible or semiretired roles, with a full-time or part-time schedule.

    • The regulatory strategy, policy, and compliance group helps integrate engineering work products into the client’s regulatory environment, aligning technical work with regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and practical implementation.
    • The firm supports electric utilities, transmission owners and developers, infrastructure investors, and large energy users (including data center platforms) on complex, system-level matters.
    • The Compliance Advisor leads development of compliance and control frameworks aligned with real-world operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead design and implementation of compliance frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements.
    • Develop controls, governance structures, and audit-ready processes.
    • Lead or support audit engagements and remediation planning.
    • Interpret regulatory requirements and align them with operational execution.
    • Advise clients on risk identification and mitigation.
    • Develop structured compliance artifacts and tracking tools.
    • Work closely with client teams to embed compliance into operations.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory environments, with preference for broader senior-level experience.
    • Experience in utility, public power, federal, or advisory environments.
    • Demonstrated ability to design and implement compliance programs and controls.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in operational contexts.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with federal agencies, reliability organizations, or regulatory oversight bodies.
    • Experience with reliability standards including CIP or similar regimes.
    • Experience supporting audits or regulatory enforcement environments.
